Poppy putting the finishing touches to her entry for the Harley Gallery Open Exhibition .

After 3 months of hard work our daughter Poppy is putting the finishing touches to her entry for the Harley Gallery Open exhibition. The theme of the show is 'H is for'; Poppy's called her painting 'H is for Hooray..!!!' which pretty much sums it up as its a party in full swing filled with all her friends like josh, Kiera and favourite characters such as Totoro, Ponyo and Tinkerbell. Judging for the show is next week so Poppy will find out if her work will be included in her very first art exhibition. She is "really really excited!!!!!".

Obsessionistas private view @ School of Jewellery BIAD (Birmingham)

Went to the obsessionistas private view tonight which featured some really cool BIAD staff collections; particularly liked Graham's wind up toys (see picture), Marleen's plastic grass, the ceramic cruet sets and of course my very own bouncy ball collection. Brushes on ipad rocks

I've just started using brushes on the iPad..... Brilliant app that I never really got to grips with on the iPhone but on the ipad it's 'AWESOME'. Especially like the layers, selection of brushes and fluidity when painting..... really is finger painting on steroids
